Camouflage Tips & Tricks

Pro-level camouflage tactics to stay invisible longer and outplay hunters in Meccha Chameleon.

1. Match the palette, not the wall

The blend engine samples color, not geometry. A wall painted with three similar hues gives you a wider tolerance window than a pure white one.

2. Stillness beats speed

Every motion frame drops your invisibility to about 60% for 1.5 seconds. Time your moves between hunter sweeps and freeze the moment line of sight returns.

3. Hide with the crowd

Clustered props are visual noise — the hunter's brain filters them out. A well-painted chameleon inside a prop cluster is almost invisible even at close range.

4. Break line of sight, then repaint

Never re-camouflage while a hunter watches — your paint animation is visible for a second. Duck behind cover first, then blend.

5. Rotate every 30 seconds

Static hiders die. Hunters learn patterns fast — move to a new spot every 20–30 seconds to reset their mental map.
